CD-Karte - CD card

Hallo Ihr Lieben, endlich ist es wieder Samstag und ich bin mal wieder an der Reihe, Euch etwas schönes zu zeigen ... Es geht Euch bestimmt auch so, dass Ihr ab und an Foto-CDs verschenken möchtet, oder? Sei es von Hochzeiten, Taufen, Geburtstagen oder anderen Feierlichkeiten. Damit diese Foto-CDs eine schöne Verpackung bekommen, habe ich für Euch heute eine CD-Karte ...

Hello dear friends, it's saturday finally and it's my turn again to show something... There are some times you have to make a Picture CD for someone with pictures of a wedding, a birthday or other festivities. And today I'd like to show you a pretty card for these picture CDs ...

Was Ihr braucht:
Cardstock 14 cm x 28,5 cm
Cardstock 13,5 cm x 15,5 cm
gemustertes Papier 13 cm x 13 cm
Falzbein, Lineal
Word Window Punch oder Cuttermesser

What you'll need:
Cardstock 14 cm x 28,5 cm (5 1/2" x 11")
Cardstock 13,5 cm x 15,5 cm (5 1/4" x 6 1/4")
Patterned Papier 13 cm x 13 cm (5" x 5")
Bone Folder, Ruler Word Window punch or small circle punch and knife

Der große Carstock wird gefalzt bei 14 cm und 14,5 cm. Der kleinere Cardstock wir gefalzt bei 0,5 cm, 1 cm, 14,5 cm und 15 cm (gefalzt werden alle Falze in eine Richtung.

The bigger cardstock has to be fold at 14 cm (5 1/2") und 14,5 cm (5 3/4") and the smaller cardstock has to be fold at 0,5 cm, 1 cm, 14,5 cm and 15 cm (1/4", 1/2", 5 3/4" and 6") all folding in the same direction.

Auf die Rückseite des kleineren Cardstock wird die CD mittig aufgelegt und aufgezeichnet. Nun zeichnet ihr von oben und unten jeweils 1 cm an und zieht eine Linie.

Put a CD in the middle of the backside of the smaller cardstock and mark it. Now you have draw a line at 1 cm (1/2") on the top and the bottom of your card.

Rechts und links werden 2 cm abgemessen und Linien gezogen.

You have to messure 2 cm (3/4") on the left and on the right side and draw lines as shown on the picture.

Mit dem Word Window Punch könnt Ihr nun ganz exakt über der Linie ansetzen und 2x stanzen, die Linien rechts und links dienen ebenfalls als Begrenzung. Falls Ihr keinen Word Window Punch habt, könnt Ihr selbstverständlich auch mit dem Cuttermesser und dem Linial eine ca. 1 cm hohe Öffnung einschneiden. Eine weitere Möglichkeit ist es, rechts und links mit einem Kreiscutter einen Kreis zu stanzen und das mittige Teil auszuschneiden, so erhaltet Ihr runde Ausschnitte. Vor dem Stanzen oder Schneiden könnt Ihr auf der Vorderseite Eures Cardstocks das Stück Designer Papier aufkleben und beides gemeinsam stanzen/schneiden.

Now you'll the correct position for your word window punch and punch two times (the lines left and right are your borderline. If you don't have a word window punch you can cut of course with a ruler and a knife. Or you can use a small circle punch and cut in the middle with a knife so you'll get round edges. Before you're going to punch or cut your windows you can add the patterned paper on the front and punch/cut both together at the same time.

Variation mit/with Circle punch

Der Cardstock wird mit starkem Klebeband auf die Innenseite der Karte aufgeklebt. Durch die Erhöhung von 0,5 cm an den Seiten bleibt der Cardstock flexibel genug, um die CD einzustecken.

Now you adhere the smaller cardstock with a strong tape on the inside of your card. Because of the folding on both sides the cardstock will stay flexible to put your CD in.
