Octagon Geschenkbox

Endlich ist wieder Samstag, d. h. Zeit für eine neue Ausgabe vom Stempeleinmaleins. Nadine/Basteltiger ist heute unsere Gast Designerin und hat eine Anleitung für eine total süße Octagon Box.

Finally it's Saturday again, that means it's time for a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins. Nadine/Basteltiger is our guest designer today and she has made a fab tutorial for a cute octagon box.

Ihr benötigt:
Vorlage
Cardstock 20 x 15 cm
Zwei Cardstock-Stücke für KreiseEin Stück Patterned Paper für den Wellenrand
Satinband
Klebeband
Schere
Bleistift
ScorPal

You need:
Template
Piece of cardstock 20 x 15 cm
Two pieces of cardstock for the circles
A piece of patterned paper for the scalloped circle
Tape
Scissors
Pen
ScorPal

Und hier ist die Vorlage für die Octagon Box:

Übertragt die Form am besten auf Cardstock, um die nötige Stabilität zu bekommen. Danach schneidet ihr die Form aus...

Copy the template to cardstock to get a solid base. Then cut out the shape ...

... und falzt mit dem ScorPal die Linien. Auf der Vorlage sind das die gestrichelten Linien.

... and score the lines with the ScorPal. On the template they are the dotted lines.

Hier habe ich die Laschen zur besseren Veranschaulichung nach innen gedrückt.

I pressed the flaps to the inside to make them more visible for you.

Danach klebt ihr Klebeband auf die oberen Laschen, die ihr von innen sehen könnt.

Then you need to add tape to the top flaps you can see inside.

Dreht die Form herum und klebt Klebenbandstreifen an die äußeren Laschen, wie auf dem Bild zu sehen.

Turn the shape around and add tape to the flaps outside like shown in the picture.

Jetzt klebt ihr die Octagon Box zusammen. Zuerst die Seitenteile...

Now glue the octagon box together. First the side parts...

... und dann die oberen Laschen darüber. So sieht das Ganze dann von innen aus.

... and then the upper parts. This is how it looks inside now.

Sucht euch einen passenden Kreis und ggf. Wellenrand aus euren Nesting Formen aus und stanzt sie mit eurer Stanzmaschine aus. Natürlich könnt ihr auch einen einfachen Kreisschneider nehmen. Danach dekoriert ihr die Box.

Now take a matching circle and if you want the corresponding scalloped circle from your nesting dies and cut them with your cutting machine. Of course you can also take a normal circle cutter. After that decorate your box.

Ein Schleifenband hilft, um die Box geschlossen zu halten. Klebt also erst das Band und dann die Ober- und Unterseite an.

A ribbon helps to held the box closed. Don't forget to glue the ribbon first and then the upper parts.

Und so sieht die fertige Box dann aus.
